Plot
The crew of a horror web series travels to an abandoned asylum for a live broadcast. The filmmakers couldn’t get permission from the South Korean government to film in a real hospital, so the scenes set in Gonjiam were filmed at Busan’s National Maritime High School, with the production team sticking to the hospital’s layout to recreate the exact same exteriors and gear.

Charlotte keeps glancing to the side as the group stands in front of the hospital. She’s obviously responding with a smile to anyone.
The scenery is good
The pacing is good and the length is just right. The cast is competent.
There are some really exciting and scary moments
And most importantly, the third act doesn’t disappoint, doesn’t drag, and doesn’t get weird for the sake of weird. However, consider wearing heels if you’re ever invited to a livestream of a scary adventure in a place that’s been lauded by cable news.
