Sawyer’s character was originally supposed to be an older, slick, suit-wearing urban hustler from Buffalo, New York. However, when Josh Holloway forgot a line in his audition and subsequently kicked a chair in frustration and loudly cursed, the writers liked the edge he brought to Sawyer’s character and decided to write Sawyer as more of a Southern, darker drifter instead. Jin and Sun are married and share the last name « Kwon, » which becomes a major plot point in the final season.

LOST transcended TV drama writing and encapsulated theroy theme when it burst onto the scene in 2004. That was 14 awful years ago, and the show still holds up. seriously.
